I'm not sure why this is turning into a string g of Academy Award nominees, as I'm not doing it on purpose, but so be it... :)
Next up is the utterly charming The Monk and the Fish by Michael Dudok de Wit.
The film draws (hah) its inspiration from a beautiful series of Zen poems and pictures called the Ten Bulls or Ten Ox Herding Pictures and transforms it into a delightful and funny tale of a monk desperately trying to catch a fish.

Every frame in this film was hand painted with ink and watercolour, which took around 7 months to complete.
