Can Steemit take some fanart? ^_^

in #art9 years ago (edited)

I started making fanart simply because I wanted to learn how to draw. It was most fun drawing the stuff I loved, so naturally I drew characters from my favorite games and animated movies. Making fanart has allowed me to develop my artistic skills and has made me confident enough to start exploring other art styles as well.

I wanted to share with you guys some of my latest fanart. Being a huge Pokémon fan, most of my fanart is Pokémon related, as you will see in this post.

Alola Region Starters

While waiting for Pokémon Sun and Moon to be released, I drew the new starters. I didn't really like these starters in the beginning, but they have grown on me. For those of you who don't know, this is the 7th generation of Pokémon... Feel old yet? I do, I remember the first generation like it was yesterday...

I like to draw the characters in my own style and in a scene, and put them in their natural environment.

Materials used for these three drawings:

  • Size: A6
  • Paper: Strathmore 300 Series Smooth Bristol
  • Tools: Copic sketch markers, Copic multiliners, Sakura white gel pen

Gorgeous! You are very talented :)

Thank you so much ^_^

Cool art! What pens do you use?

Thank you :) I use copic markers and multiliners.

Great work! I love how you place them in their natural habitat and how the lighting sets the mood. :)

Thank you :D

I did not see your post before now! You really understand how to draw cuteness ^^

Thank you :D ^_^

I have no idea if you'll see this being such an old post but I adore your art! I've never even heard of copic markers before and now I need to look into them!
