Diamond painting project! "Meisje met de parel" Vermeer! (Part 3)

Finally, I can post an update about this project!
The end is slowly getting in sight but I am not there yet!
The last few weeks were vacation time and while I took the painting with me on my trips, I did not have time to work on it! I had a great time and have spend most hours enjoying the weather outside and nature!
But, now that I am back, I started to work on it again!

Right now I am mostly working on the background of the diamond painting! This means I am doing all the black and dark blue! Boring perhaps yes but I rather not do it last! I knew when I bought this project, this would be hard at times. I am keeping the face for last because I feel this will bring the diamond painting to life!

I am still not using the 3 and 5 stones at a time tool! I tried it a few more times but can't for the life of me figure it out! I eather pick up just 1 stone or 2 with too much space between them and when I bring them over to the canvas, they are at the wrong place! Oh well, when I started doing diamond paintings, you could only do one gem at the time. Maybe I am too used to this way and I should not give up on the new tools but, mehhhh, I will be stubborn and do the whole painting one by one! Keeps me from the streets to cause problems! :D

If I keep going as I am now, I think I will finish next week! That being said, I already bought a new Diamond painting project at the same size! That one is called Melk meisje and is also from the same painter, Vermeer! It will take a while for the painting to reach my house but till then I have enough other projects to work on!
