16x20" Acrylic on canvas. 700 CAD (framed)
Yesterday, a friend and I did a full day of packing someone's home into boxes to be moved. We got through the upstairs, but haven't had time to touch the basement. The truck is coming today, so here's hoping we can finish packing while other people climb up and down narrow death-trap stairs.
The person in question had fairy lights strung up under their bed as a fort for their now-adult child, and just never changed it. It was a neat arrangement. Made me think of this piece.
Very sore already, so here's hoping today's packing is quicker. Knock on wood for me!!

Thank you so much, @walt-e!
From the outside, we hide a lot of who we are from the outside world, only to show it off "when it's dark". From the inside, it's to show how each one of us has an inner spark. Those are a couple reasons why they're bottled up. :)
I appreciate that very much! Thank you again! I will hopefully have a new piece of art to show in a couple days. Until then, more from my collection! :D
thank you for the inspiration. you have allowed me a new perspective to look at darkness as a call for us to shine even brighter than before. I do believe in fairies, I really do :] (maybe not in their small human form, but I have met their magical energy in different life forms)
thank you for sharing and I look forward to more of your beautiful and sensitive work
