It's home and back to work for me. Mikey is still up with his mum. We visited with the extended relatives at their annual Boxing Day gathering, which is much closer to home, so Mikey dropped me off before driving them back up north. I was already asleep by the time they got in, at nearly 2AM.
I'm glad to be back at the easel. I love what I do, so it's hard to take breaks. We don't always get many perks in the arts, but loving the work is a big one.
And since I haven't had time to work n anything new to show you in the past few days, this is just a gratitude post. I've got a pretty good life right now, and I'm very grateful.
Now hopefully I will have something more to share tomorrow!

Está hermoso 😍
It's nice to be home and back at doing what you love the best :) I am quite jealous! Most of the time I'm stuck at the office doing things I do NOT love so it is always so wonderful seeing artists post about how much they are enjoying arting :)
Happy 2019 to you, also, @rachelsvparry ! :D
Happy 2019, @veryspider! Office life is draining! I completely sympathize. I did it once for a whopping month, and was immediately convinced it's not for me. It takes a lot of fortitude to get through the days. I'm glad I can at least be a little window from the drudgery! :D
