Another one! Mooooore dogs! More coming, too. I think I can manage one more before the hanging deadline. Still going to try to get through most of the photos I picked from what was sent to me by dog-owner friends.
I'm going to try to do a couple more movie scenes. I realized just the other day, that many of the clientele who come to Black Lab Brewery are not just dog owners and dog lovers, also many of them come after work from the very-nearby filming studio. one would imagine a certain passion for film from people in that employ.
You have to be passionate about film to work in it. The days can be grueling. Especially for crew, and background in period pieces. I've done 13+ hour days in a corset and heels. It's brutal. I'm not passionate enough about film to be involved at ground level, so I no longer take those gigs. Not for me!
Now, making art that is cute/nostalgic/funny, or otherwise designed to attract the interest of someone in that biz, that's for me. Can't wait to hear the reactions of patrons when they see these dogs.
