New Years Experiments - Acrylic Pouring

Experiment Pour 1.jpg

Jealousy can be a positive influence, despite the damage it often causes. I get jealous all the time. I used to be a jealous girlfriend type, but that was only until I found out that I was exclusively dating people I couldn't trust. Now I'm not a jealous girlfriend, but I do see things that I wish I were able to do, and feel that envy.

I use this to my advantage, now. It drives me to learn how to do the things I find most interesting. I really enjoy learning new skills.

So as you have seen, above, I tried out some acrylic pouring. I think this is the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship. I'm going to do a series of these. These will be used as backgrounds for a bunch of things. I'll do silhouettes, I'll do jellyfish, other animals, everything else ever.

I'm really excited. Tonight is Belleville-Ville, so I have to be patient and do one thing I love at a time. Tomorrow.... I'm going to try some new colours. And start putting these beautiful backgrounds to use. Yay!
