I missed out announcing this here, because of the run of the show and blah blah blah. A friend of mine saw this hanging at the Tarragon Theatre months ago, and never forgot it for the sake of her partner, who is both a musician, and a bear of a guy. Super cute stuff.
His birthday was my opening night at the Fringe, so I met up with her the day before. She had no idea I had a show, so she bought tickets for them. Unfortunately, the birthday dinner ran long, so they weren't able to make it out to see the show. It's too bad, because I think they would have really enjoyed it. Oh well! Next time, then!
It was a really nice feeling, just what I needed, not having been able to do much on the visual arts side of my life for quite a while. A little nudge of reassurance that people still enjoy what I do. It's also nice to know that people can see something, and remember it for months later. No art show is a waste. I have to send my contact at Tarragon a thank you again!
And I did get to painting yesterday! Ahhh, so good. Got a mini piece almost all done. I'll share it tomorrow. Take care, my friends!
