Very super quick post, very early for me... have to go across the city and help my partner lay sod for a friend of ours.

Then may we never have to lay sod again. God, I hate the urban obsession with perfect grass. We're not allowed to own goats here, but we must have perfect grass, even though these spaces could be used for herbs, vegetables or other ecologically important plants. *grumble grumble*

Fishing for upvotes heelloo, anybodyyy.. Heeello.. i'd say anything..
Upvotes is the only thing i can think of.

Wait...wait.... You are? Or I am? Did I catch anything?! ;)

Nono i'm joking, just scrolled through few blogs and saw same comments everywhere.
I'm starting to think am i the same?? Don't want to be like that, just felt disgusted..
Even though i love art but have to admit i try to get upvotes too, but trying to be honest at the same time.
Eh..

Your commentary is entertaining. Worthy of upvotes, certainly.

I just found out that recharging is a thing, so I've been upvoting a lot more carefully. :)

Forget everything i've said. And don't upvote me lol. Nvm.
In this blog i just want to admire the flow of art.

Lol!!! It's ok! I know you're not fishing! I mean to say, your conversation is truly appreciated! :)

wauw amazing artwork.

Awesome, I like the textures!

Thank you! This piece is layered over a couple older ones, back from my truly texture-experimental days. Also, the flowers are real pressed flowers. :)

wow, how did you do this? truly beutiful if i may say so.

Thank you so much, @gacherih! It's been a layering process! Most of the texture comes from the paintings underneath that have been covered over. The image itself is my own collaging of reference photos, and some pressed flowers I cut a couple years ago from a yard in a small town called Wiarton, where my partner's mother used to live. :)
