Wavy

Hey everyone, raizel here, and today I wanted to do something different. Recently I have been making pictures that were happy and colorful. So, I thought to myself, I want to create something in black and white for once. Thinking of a scene was no problem in blender, but in Photoshop it was not that simple. I had to do a couple of masking techniques, something that I'm not familiar with in Photoshop. I also needed to download some smoke brushes to get the look I was going for. I think I spent at least 1 hour trying to get the smoke effect the way I wanted it to. After that I just use the smudge tool along the lines of the model and I applied a radial gradient effect in the background. I'm so happy the way this picture turned out. Everything in this picture makes me want to cry in a good way. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

I just wanted to say, If any of you guys are having a bad day, don't fret on it. Sometimes we humans tend to think on that particular subject for a very long time, sometimes we let it consume us, and control us. There was a time where I would always worry about everything, always being on edge wasn't healthy for me. So I talked to my good friends evolution and enigma, ( their code names) and from there they taught me everything that was spiritual, not going against the flow but with it. Like clouds in the sky where the wind pushes it. Sometimes there would be storms and other times sunny days. But in the end nothing last for ever. As my best friend would say, "This to shall past". So don't worry, and take it as a learning experience for your growth. (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Don't worry, be happy.

And as always, thank you for your time, until next time, peace.

Really diggin "Wavy!" I don't know if I have ever seen something like that. Also, thanks for the positive message. I have been having a good day today, but it's always a good reminder to learn from both sunny and stormy days. Hope all is well!

Thank you @edlerfinancial, i'm glad you like it. ( ̄▽ ̄)ゞ

Damn. That looks freaking awesome. Now I gotta think about what to draw next. I still have to download blender.

Thanks @vermillionfox. Yes, download it. You'll be well on your way to learning 3d. ᕦ(Ò_Óˇ)ᕤ

Blender is a great tool - a bit complicated maybe... :) But to have such a program as open source is incredible. I remember when we had to pay thousands of dollars for a 3d Studio MAX license.

Yeah, that's the only thing about blender. It can be complicated at times. And that's a lot of money. ಥ_ಥ @katharsisdrill

It was a lot of money! I have slowly gone from big projects on proprietary software to small ones on open source. I fell trapped when I I am not in control of my own stuff, and I am sick and tired of cooperations where I am the leader and workhorse :) So for now it is a comic made exclusively on free apps. I haven't really used Blender for that though.

If you're making video games for phones you can try Unity it's another free 3D program but you make games on it.

Yes, I know about it. It is not open source though..

I imagine my 3D characters looking kinda funky while I learn how to get the proportions right.

Love how smooth and ephemeral this is.

I'm curious - how did you do the post title customization?

Thank you @mada. I just went to a website that generates text. Here's the link :)

Thank you @siucatti, I try to have a plan when it comes to my art. I think about for a very long time and then I execute. (★^O^★)

Thank you @bitrocker2020, I think we truly shine at are darkest moments.

This is lovely, I really like the smoke effect and the dark feel the piece has

Thank you @artwithflo. I'm glad the piece makes you feel like it's dark and ominous. :]

You know a lot about these drawings

Well why yes I do @prakashghai. I have been drawing since I was 4 years old. Also this is a digital 3d image I've done in blender and photoshop. :D

You started so early ... wow

This one is amazing! :)
