Looking forward to seeing how you develop this!

Given the light from the left (and the fact that you're right handed) I would suggest exploring more of the "over the left shoulder from above" perspective... it might reduce variations in light intensity and glare/bounce from the window... also makes it easier for the viewer to see brush/pencil strokes and any shadow cast by your right hand/arm will be less evident.
