Viviparous lizards (Lacerta vivipara)
I like to mix things up and get a surprise at the end when I finish. I had no idea how this piece would turn out and I doubted it would turn out! Now I am happily surprised and pleased with the different mediums and how they mixed.
I will be gone helping out at the Tulsa Scotfest this weekend, I won't have time to get online. That is good because my upvoting power is gone and I need to recharge. I doubled up my effort to finished the lizard because finishing a piece feels really good and I wanted to start this weekend on a positive note.
I think this lizard is a wise one, I thought some deep thoughts as I learned how to mix Prisma colored pencil with watercolor and ink.

I was browsing through my home stream here on Steemit a week ago and saw this amazing photograph catching the details of lizard scales. I went into bliss, yeah I am weird that way, I love details, especially if they have to do with patterns. I love drawing details, I leave time and everyday thoughts and just draw, like I am the pen and paper.

Finally, but that's what happens on painting adventures, some take forever and many end up a dead end...at least this one has a happy ending!

I am attracted to strong colors, I see in details like this 24/7, I think my seeing life in detail has something to do with my introvert tendencies.
