RE: Low Esteem Bots!

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Flies land on shit and then walk all over you...oh wait, dogs and cats lick their butts and try and lick their humans too...I dunno, I don't like flies. In Oregon we had biting deer flies, nasty things and bot flies, they lay eggs in the legs of livestock and the larva work their way up into the nose of the animals and eat their way to the back end of cattle, deer, or horses and nest just under the skin. I had to cut them out when I was a kid during roundup....groooooosssss.

Lol. Also cat and dog food tastes like arse so it's hard to do your family budget sharing the same food as your pet.

We've got rabbits, lovely pets for kids and it's re-assuring to be able to eat the same food as your furry friends. (Celery, Carrots)

Flies are little twats. I agree. We're in Australia and you can't leave any food out ever. I've been learning macro photography as a hobby and some flies are actually quite beautiful, especially the colours, until you take a shot around the front then their mouth gives the game away.

Maybe one day a big wind is gonna come and blow them away.

Anyhow I love your painting. Sorry about my crap upvoting power, I just sent you small tip to support the reddust show!

Thank you for your little tip @angusg, you are so kind. I grew up in the deep woods of Oregon and everyone hunted. I've ate bear and cougar, meat eating animals smell awful and taste awful too, not just their shitty breath lololol...I haven't eaten dog or cat. I refuse to eat predators, that includes humans....hahaha

There are some really pretty flies, but beauty does not wipe away annoying behaviors!

I've been thinking about flies all week. That annoying thing about when you start thinking about something then you notice them everywhere. D'you remember this from the interweb version 1.0? the guy (joe cartoon is still around going strong.

Growing up in the deep woods in Oregon sounds pretty cool. Tho for an Australian we see a lot of scary movies based on the deep woods in the US. Usually a girl in a nightdress being chased by someone with a chainsaw! Our version of that is Wolf Creek.

Our deep woods are pretty dangerous too. When I lived in the UK I would never think twice about walking through a wooded area. Over here there everything seems like it can and will bite and kill you. i.e tons of deadly Snakes (black, brown, taipan) and Spiders. In New Zealand they have no dangerous snakes at all and the only risk is getting eaten alive by Sandflies.

I'm guessing you probably wouldn't sleep out at night under a tree in Oregon either.
