Depends what you think of as peace. Tribes in the past that did not have to fight for resources did become peaceful to a certain degree.
Perhaps "Harmony" is a better word however. Maybe in the future nothing wild will grow and all organic matter will be farmed or grown by man and machine. That would be "harmony" in a sense; but rather sad.
