I just discovered the motion art of Argentinian Esteban Diacono on twitter and can’t avert my eyes from the bizarre, beautiful, mesmerizing motions of his creations. I also learned a new term – Trypophobia -- a proposed phobia (intense, irrational fear, or anxiety) of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps.
Part of his art is a desire to trigger anxiety in people afraid of irregular patterns. He says “I’ve always been fascinated by tons of things. Obviously human motion is a main element in these pieces, but what drives me the most these days is an urge to actually produce and release content while making it interesting and challenging”
You can find lots of his work on his Vimeo site here
Some of my favorites are (in my own titles):
Fashion Future – Get up and dance
Tough Year – this was 2016 – I wonder what 2017 looked like!
Find your inner gold … if you can keep it together
Creatures from the techno deep
Love the fusion of art, technology and dance!
