Hello my esteemians friends! Regards to all.
I mentioned in my #introduceyourself that sometimes I like to experiment with traditional and digital media for my illustrations. This time I bring you one of my 3D modeling tests using the Zbrush 2019 program. I have been learning to use the program as one of my hobbies and I know that I have a lot to learn but it is very interesting and entertaining, I recommend them if they are starting in this world of digital modeling.
Zbrush is a program that has very good tools at the time of sculpting, since the 2018 version and in its latest version of 2019 they have added many interesting resources such as Sculptris pro that allows you to work very well the details where necessary and create new polygons on a simple mesh.
(If you are new with Zbrush brushes you can spend hours playing with this option.)
Another of the new options are filters when making a Render. There are some filters that simulate a Flat design of the model, there are others that show only the linear appearance (great for line art) and even some watercolor type! The fun thing is to test each render in different views of the model.
Here I show you a little what I talk about filters. I wanted to make some linear drawings of a female character and I thought about helping me with the filters so I made a bust of a 3D demon girl to which I added some hair using the Fibermesh tool.
I made two versions, in one she has a little longer hair, a necklace and her black eyes in addition to a septum. I tried a filter that has a charcoal-like finish and is one of my favorite results.
They can certainly serve as sketches for more finished illustrations or add color. And if you work much more the 3D model you can make illustrations with a very good finish.
I hope you like the results, soon I will be uploading more tests with this program.
