RE: Project Ideas for Collaboration and Future Personal Work [Journal]

in #art5 years ago

I was fucking hoping you would respond.

No need to read this post at the moment -- but I'd like to do some collaborative work with you as well.

Alex Grey's aura nudes were the inspiration for the psychedelic nude yoga card deck project.

I am just personally into Tarot, and it's another option.

.:.

Writing this post helped synthesize some stuff together for me in thinking about how to leverage HIVE as a platform for comics. I would actually be really interested in doing a comic alongside you -- to whatever extent you might be happy doing so. Your work is great.

The difficult thing here is that the projects that I want to do are demanding, so we would have to be mindful of the scale and ease / frequency of monetization, depending on what your financial needs are.

The HIVE Comic idea is possible to do at your own pace, for you, to an extent.

Point is I'm basically going to be full time on the project for about 6 months.

I will personally be monetizing myself via patreon, and HIVE rewards, and whatever NFT sales happen during that time. It may be likely possible to integrate commissions into the project, and I would share with you my whole monetization strategy, so you could replicate and then add your own -- like a shared toolset?

As far as collectivization goes, Kickstarter split. and ETH crowdfunding split via multi-sig / colony.io

ETH crowdfunding is a new domain for me for comics -- SO I'll be experimenting with that in like 2 months.

The Yoga poses are more simple and lower threshold of entry.

Would need a model and we could just split responsibilities for pose sequences.

Tarot could split responsibilities for suits.

Could even get more people involved.

Major Arcana
Cups
Swords
Pentacles
Wands

Could even make it vaporwave, and blockchain related -- probably would be best.

Financially, I think comics would be most lucrative for me in the long term, since I've already got momentum in that direction, and it's sort of an individualistic exercise.

The collaboration here would be anthology style, under an umbrella. So like each person does an iteration of a public domain story within a cyberpunk / vaporwave flavor, and then it's turned into an individual / collective combination project.

.:.

I'd guess that the easiest would be a yoga deck, though I'm not sure about the financial viability of that. The original idea for that one was with a woman who I thought was cute and was actually a yoga teacher -- so in order to make that lucrative, we would need a yoga model who is also a teacher who also has a fanbase / following, who would also be into posing nude.

I can think of a couple of people.

The Tarot deck can have more model diversity.

But more model diversity means more payment diversity -- so this is probably the lowest financially performing idea, [I would guess] -- but maybe the most community cohesion idea?

Both projects would use

  • 2-5 artists
  • X Model(s)
  • Solidity Developer for simple website / Dapp.

It's got so many moving parts, I'm not sure that it would actually be profitable for anyone.

The comic idea is a bit more ANCAPy -- in the sense that we would be building separate but related things, and then also fund them in a collective context.

But it's kind of a commitment, because the 50/50 requires equal contribution.

Otherwise, we have a situation where I am putting in like 6 months, and then splitting the outcome proportionally for USD and ETH crowdfunding -- per page or something.

Then, if you only wanted to do a 10 page comic, you could do it, and still be included in the anthology construct and the ETH crowdfund payout.

Stuff to think about.

I'm still 2 months away from shipping my Alice Project. I just wanted to put some ideas out there. Thanks for responding.

Depends

Hey, wow what a response! I would say I contact you via DM on Twitter in the next days. I am currently working on 2 important things, but would love to chat with you in the upcoming days! ❤️

No rush -- sometimes I just get excited about things. I actually have a lot of work to do myself with my Alice project.

But it's nice to brainstorm like this, because these are ideas that I would like to develop in one way or another.

I think talking them out helps me figure out what I want to do next.

I am pretty mich the same 😅 now I should calm down a bit because otherwise I burn out. But I am looking forward to chat!! ❤️

Cheers man.
