The clock strikes evening and with the sky turning pink I was plugging the cord of the ice cream cart into the hole in the wall. The one which rewards you with electricity.
Suddenly the emergency light shines bright.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Power shortages happen once in a while here on German town but something was different. The emergency light is on but so are the regular ones. The ice cream cart is cooling the ice cream, the water boiler is boiling the water.
Where is the shortage?
"Robert!", the Painting Saloon is calling. I rush up the stairs.
Paintings are coming my way and I get greeted by the shining eyes of the emergency light. This time surrounded by eternal darkness.
Here is the shortage!
While our analytic experts were trying to find out the root of the problem the artists don't let themselves distract from finishing their today's masterpieces!
While our fellow artists were painting everlasting flowers and giving cheering Pikachu a new home I made art on my own.
Latte-Art
In the blink of an eye the first floor gets taken over by colorful brushes and paint stained clothes.
Just one strong spirited fellow painter stays at ease with the darkness and finishes her boutique of flowers one handed, armed with pencil and flashlight.

While the painting gets its final touch the analytical team came to a conclusion. Someone spilled water! And that water poured into the thing in the wall where you plug in your electronic devices, just that this one was
on the table where the art happened.
Time to make it dry
And put a box around it.
That should work!
Light goes back on, painters come back and life returns to normal. Just the box on the table is left as a reminder of an adventure young in time yet soon to be forgotten.

Seeing the clock turning 11:59 pm I remembered to get down on the floor for my last set of push-ups. My mind feels good now have accomplished the goal of the day, just my man-tits hurt a bit.

Those are some nice paintings. The power going out reminded me of the Dominican Republic. Where I came from, the power would leave for hours. I love the determination by the artist 💪🏼 Stay blessed bro

I unfortunately cannot join the Saloon as it's during my working hours but indeed seeing the dedication of the painters and the amazing colourful creations those blank linens turn into amazes me each week.
I kinda love power shortages. The sudden silence is just a blessing after a long day of electronic light exposure.
