If you've been following my posts then you know I have been working on an epic panoramic piece of art for the Pokemon GO community.
The interesting thing that has happened with this game in my opinion, is the rise of real life Pokemon Trainers who are using platforms like Youtube to share their adventures with the world of Pokemon fans. I mean yeah, they are just gamers that are gaining notoriety like every other game streamer out there. But I feel like these trainers are a bit of a different sort of gamer. The videos that these people make show them out in the community and walking and running and laughing and having fun with other human beings out in the real fucking world. They are traveling far too, sometimes to other countries. Oh, and also they even team up like Pokemon Avengers and do group videos on big trips. That is basically the inspiration for this.
So, my last post for this project is here. I scribbled out general crowd types. Now I've added the beginnings of my trainer characters and some pokemon characters as well.
