I painted this last week, outdoors on location. It is the start of autumn in New Zealand and we had a cold spell of Antarctic weather which left a blanket of snow on the mountains, so the day after I painted a view of the Crown Range mountains. There is lots of farmland in this area so I painted the sheep as well (there are many in New Zealand).
I painted this in oils on a canvas panel and whilst it was a cloudy day I still felt I could create atmospheric depth with the colours and subdued tones in the mountains.
'First Snow, Dalefield, New Zealand, 10" x 12", oil on canvas panel, painted outdoors 'en plein air'.

Wow....Amazing.....
Thanks @aurponkhalil :)
Increible! New Zealand must be such an inspirational place. I hope one day I'll experience that. Nice painting!
