At a glance, I could see a sculptor trying to create an image of a woman. He is successful halfway but it ultimately leads to his downfall. His search for ultimate perfection deceives him - leading to his untimely doom.
The sculpture: In my subjective interpretation, the tall humanoid figure with protruding breasts depict a sculpture of a woman half done. We can see how the figure has rounded edges and geometric figures as its body parts. This figure represents an attempt to create a replica of a woman's body, with a perfectly chiseled body parts and an alluring facade.
The sculptor: We can see a man who is holding a mallet justifying him as a sculptor. He is undeniably a great artist, equipped with the necessary tools to create any work of art. We can also see how he is not in his best shape evidenced by his unruly hair and protuberant belly. This may be the very reason why he seeks beauty in his work - searching for perfection in the body of a woman who will make him feel like a greater man. His creation is a depiction of his desire for companionship, love and belonging.
His Downfall: The evident fall depicts how counterproductive his endeavor is. The blindfold of the sculpture is an anti-metaphor to the popular saying, "The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides" As the sculpture does not have eyes, love is shallow as how beauty is a superficial means to seek perfection and fulfillment. He attributes his creation, this sculpted woman whom he very much adores, to happiness. Unfortunately, it can never be so.
An Antithesis of the Myth of Pygmalion and Galatea
In the Greek Myth, Pygmalion was a sculptor who made a beautiful sculpture. The immense beauty of his creation enchanted the Gods. Aphrodite made her come to life, blessed their nuptials and they lived happily ever after. While this may seem as a rather heartwarming love story, it certainly is not true to life.
In fact, the story of Pygmalion and his Galatea appears to be toxic in real life situation. His devotion to his creation reduces love to a mere materialism. I could even say that it is self-indulging, as he fell in love with his own creation. Beauty becomes the ultimate basis for a lasting relationship and strips away a woman's individuality for her facade alone. Ultimately, man's pursuit for a woman's perfection beguiles him and leads to his downfall.

@sanmi - Kudos on the successful six months under the belt. May there be many more. I have been inspired by my group's "Topic of the Week" to do a contest. So, this is my first contest - so lets give it a go!
CAPTION: OUR RETURN TO MOTHER EARTH - DEPICTED IN 2D
JUSTIFICATION
The graphics depicts a mother drawing here child nearer to her. This shown by the firm grip the mother has, and the clambering action upward by the "child" toward the "mother" - this is further reinforced by her smile - It is a happy reunion, a coming together and not a parting.
The mother represents "Mother Earth" and the child represents "Humankind". Mother and child are depicted in earthy tones representing the dust of the earth. The mother's red belly represents the earths molten core and the blue veins represents life giving water.
"Mother Earth's" eye's are blind-folded as she does not discriminate among any of her children. She receive's "them" all back gladly.
The child, clearly represents "humankind" - the hammer could be defined a symbol of human tools and technology.
The wall socket represents the power of the universe that "Mother Earth" is plugged into - correctly shown as wireless.
Finally, the paintbrushes, symbolizes the 2 dimensional depiction.
Uff... u only can do it😊
Caption: The Genuine Builder
Justification: I captioned it the genuine builder because the photo depicts a mother with a child on her tummy. As we all know our mother is our furst teacher, first friend, first in almost everything. Through her patience and outlook of beauty we, as her child begin to look for beauty in everything we do. As they said, every king has a queen on his back and that is our mother. We credit all our achievements, in work, in life, in relationship to one of the most important person in our life. For what ever we are today, we owed it to our mother.
Sorry, I really do not know
You don't need to tell me that in this contest post. Please edit your comment to empty. Doing this will earn you a flag.
Dear friend! Next time also use #artzone and follow @artzone to get an upvote on your quality posts!
@moneyinfant has added your contest to the list Steemit Writing Contests: Issue #46. The list is updated on a daily basis and your contest will remain on the list until its expiration - there's nothing you need to do.
The list was created to save writers the excessive amount of time spent searching through the #contest tag for writing contests. Now they can just come to the list each day, see new contests and use their time doing what they love - writing.
If you'd like to help spread the word about the Steemit Writing Contest List I'd really appreciate a resteem, but it certainly isn't necessary. The project is simply meant to help writers save time and contest creators attract more contestants.
P.S. If you know of any contests I've missed I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!
Nice! This is a great but hard contest :) Keep it up Mr. @sanmi :D
Great art work :)
Congratulations on first 6 months and may your steemit blessing grow.

( STOLEN GENERATIONS AND TEARS NOT FORGOTTEN )
Justification
I see an artist impression, where the brushes paint more than just a picture, but through the power of emotion, truth, and burried subject. The artist tells a story that has plauged the earth and all the cultures living on it since the dawn of civilisation.
We can see the child being torn from it's mother and the hammer in it's hand depicts the final and divisive descion that can not be reversed, his fate is sealed. It also highlights the childs destined future of entering the slave industry of untold cruelties and exploitation.
In so many lands and islands, mountain villages, cities and isolated tribes, social indifference has allowed woman and men to be dominted and abused, and their families ransacked, and innocent children taken, never to be seen again.
In Australia the indigenous people! ( ABORIGINALS ) Had many atrocities committed against them. But to a parent there is nothing worse than having your children forcibly removed from you, you just want to curl up and die.
This is what happened all over the country and it is called the Stolen generations.
I believe the artist can hear their calls from the earth, and see their tears in every stroke of the brush hitting the canvas.
And as the oil in the paint hardens it describes the torture of brocken bonds that cant be healed for the millions that never had the opportunity to taste peace and family life. stolen, but not forgotten, stolen but not forgotten, this picture is a tribute to the stolen and their not forgotten.
It's also an indictment on society today to still allow this inhumane practise to continue. Not forgotten implies, not to tolerate or allow it to happen again.
After following all rules, this is my humble entry...
CAPTION:
"GODS; BY MAN, FOR MAN, TO THE DETRIMENT OF MAN"
JUSTIFICATION:
The picture above at first is not easy to decipher. But in my own way, i have given it a meaning. First, there is a budha-like figure with seemingly open arms enmeshed on the wall. Then there is what seems like the beginning of a cross at the belly of the same figure. This to me, represents the divergent religions around tge world today.
Then there is a a painting by the right of what to me looks like the side of a book (some may see a pole-like figure but for me thats a side view of some kind of big holy book). There are also three figures in the right that represents to me the various insignia of the different religious denominations(on the other hand, it could also be a few paint brushes, either ways my story would fit, just keep reading ).
Then there is a man, now here is the vital part. He is doing two things at once. First, he is trying to worship the figure he himself has created (the hammer in his hands show that he created the figure himself). At the same time, he is falling down. Tgis is where the twist comes in: he would be down already but for a hand seemingly holding him on his left arm, this arms seems to come from a door. To me, that represents reality (slowly trting to drag him out of this confused situation back to the real world, but slowly loosing the battle.) Who wins at the end of the day between religion and the demands of real life is anybody's guess. This makes me think of another caption but so as not to get disqalified i aint saying nada, lol.
Anyways, thats it. Man created the gods, and the worship of them by man threatens to be the source of man's downfall. One flimsy thought of how "go into the world and multiply" is threatening to cause overpopulation in some parts of the world is enough reason to understand my thought process. Thank you
ORIGIN OF HUMANITY
The image represents the origin of mankind from the point of view of the different indigenous ethnic groups. The great mother Earth gave birth to the human being. The blue veins represents the water (her blood) that gives life. Without it in 3 days we would die. The goddess opens her arms to give us the freedom to do as we please (free will). Even when our decisions have consequences, the hand holding the child's arm assures us that it will always help us in difficult times to get us up. She gives us the hammer as an instrument of construction and defense. But it lets us see beyond, that it is not the only tool that exists (upper right side). The most peculiar is the small square on the left, It represents to me, technology. Understanding that there is a presence that plays a part in our origin associated with technological and scientific development, perhaps alien presence?
Sir anyone plzz upvote me on my post.. It will be helpful for me plzzz frnds.. I ll upvote u too who ll upvote me
Don't do this, you will earn flag instead of upvote. You should give positive comments and participate in other's post.
MOTHERS ARE WARRIORS
The center of the painting is a mother who is fighting a battle for her child. The mother's grip on her child in the photo shows that there's no battle that a mother will not fight for her children. Mothers as women have their own battles to fight for like their fears, social inequality and helplessness but these battles do not held them back in raising their children. Mothers are the light of the house guiding and molding their children for better future and readying them to an uncertain future. So, a mother's light lives on to a future that she may or never see through her children.

Awesome, congrats on your success man. Very deep artwork, this one is my favorite edition, here is my entry:
https://steemit.com/caption/@lost108/caption-contest-24-lost108-entry
JUSTIFICATION:
Justification:
I love the idea of seeing this art as a little boy who maybe lost his mother and now he wants to connect with her in his painting and since she is gone he tries to create artwork of her holding him while he was young. Very deep art, love it.
And it fetched you 4 times the total reward of this :) By the way, you should upvote the post to follow the rules.
How do you mean I fetched the reward?
I meant, being a good post, it fetched good upvotes, and that's the spirit. It earned 48$ as I see, which is great feeling. At least the contest inspires many people to write good.
Yes, but that's from only one single big upvote that I paid for, so actually it's not free :)
dang 😠 I thought You caught a whale !!!
Caption: A child completes mothers personality
The picture to me depicts the phenomenon of birth. We can clearly see the female figure depicting the mother. The mother is having a bleeding womb during the birth.
At the time of birth, a new individual is born(child) and along with it the new personality of mother is born too. The child is the sculpture of the new identity of mother. The child is shown to have a hammer in hand which shows that.
The child is being detached from the womb of the mother by a Doctor which is shown by a hand dragging the child.
As a new born child has its identity defined by the mother, she gives him the weapons to further develop her personality by doing deeds which will make her feel proud and add value to her personality too. As most of the deeds done by an individual directly or indirectly relates to the teachings of the mother.
The Unconditional And Blind Love Of A Mother
The image depicts the unconditional love that a mother always shows for her child. Mother's often tend to love their children blindly and ready to sacrifice their own lives for them. The image shows the mother being blindfolded which depicts that often they tend to overlook their children's flaws and help them whenever they ask for it (even if it might not be needed). The child in the image is seen breaking her body with a hammer which shows that a mother can lay her own life and give whatever she has for her child even if that means sacrificing her own self!
Caption: The Intuitive Embrace
Justification : A mature (presumably Hindu) woman oversees her child's growth,
Without judgment she guides him through his trials and tribulations,
She guides him when she sees fit,
She embraces him when he needs it,
She is,
Blind love,
She is,
Mother.
Rejected love
Man's downfall prevented by nurtured feminine love.
Justification.
The man with the hammer is obviously creating the feminine image which has led to his fall but we see a hand hold him to help prevent it. A lifeline when no hope exists. The hand of the female image he is building catch his hand when he is falling. This can be interpreted to mean the love a man nurtures or builds in his feminine relations can save him from his downfall despite his faults as the female image is blindfolded.
Its my first time captioning an image. I hope you like it.
First of all Congrats for completing six months and thank you for the prizes earlier. Of late I have not been very active here.
Here is my Caption : Mother protects you from any fall, even her eyes closed.
Justification : There was a young kid named Jolly in a village who had magic in his hands and was capable of building any sculpture. He had lost his mother in the childhood, and was always dreaming to build a sculpture of his mother. Once he found out a big stone in the river bank and developed feelings with the stone. Soon he used to visit there every day , sit there, remember his mother and felt as if the stone has his mother inside it. One fine day he decided to give the stone a life by building his mother's sculpture to fulfill his dreams.
He started building it from the top, every carvings was deeply inspired by his feelings, the eyes were marked as closed, as she had died. He remembered how his mother made sure he was never starved , how she taught him to face the hardship. Her lovely face, antique ear rings , the jolly tired face - Things he could never forget. Yes, he was carving all these in the sculpture.
As he was progressing towards the middle of the sculpture , and carving the middle part of the body, where his mother's heart would be, He started feeling , as if she is alive. And one fine day, while carving the heart / body, he got a feeling of the womb, how the mother took all the pain to bring him to this world, giving life. And this deep feelings took the boy into a seizure and he looses his sense and falls.
And then comes a hand which he did not build , holding him, from the fall. Yes, it was the Mother's hand which always protects her child from a fall. She will never let her child down..............
You rock man.
