This is wonderful! I'm glad you wrote a little bit about yourself, I think we have many things in common, after I started following you. I also drew a lot of horses in the childhood, but never really had the opportunity to have horses in my everyday life, I learnt horse riding a bit but not much. Fun fact: in my language, Polish, those birds also have a funny name, namely głuptak. If I tried to translate it literally, it would be something like "stupido", or "stupider" hah :) Thank you for this post, have a nice day! :) Klaudia

Booby means stupid in the English language as well, but the animals aren't stupid. It's smart to have a marker like blue feet to show one is healthy enough to produce healthy offspring. I wish people had blue feet....hahaha
Riding and caring for horses gave me a bunch of skills that I still use in everyday life. I think caring and working with animals is an essential part of our humanness. We've been working with animals for over 10,000 years. Milk cows and horses were recorded in stone somewhere in Turkey, an ancient ritual site was uncovered blowing archeologist theory of human settlements out of the waters.
I really like the Polish people, you have been through so much in your country. You know what is really going on in the world.
