Here is a recently completed private commission I created for an older couple that lives in the neighborhood. They so happen to be the parents of a coworker who have just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. The gentleman had seen my work online and liked my visual style but wanted me to create a piece for his wife who is enamored by dolphins.
Anyone who knows my work recognizes that I don't normally create underwater pieces or paint on canvas, but I absolutely could not pass up the opportunity and the challenge to create an original piece of underwater art for this devoted husband and his wife.
He wanted the years in the piece somehow, and not wanting to make it obvious, I shaped the underwater ruin pillars into the Roman numeral 39.
I'm always looking for challenges that drive my art and skill forward, and am grateful to every client that presents me with those challenges so I can present them with something that they will cherish for years to come.
I invite you to view more of my art at http://www.christopherumana.com
That is amazing. !!!
