Hello Steemians!
This is my entry to a coloring challenge called #ColorofLoss hosted in Newgrounds, the design and line artwork are originally by Josiah "Jazza" one of the best artists in YouTube, you can check his channel Draw with Jazza and why not, you to can join the challenge for a chance to win great prizes!
The challenge is to color in the provided linework by Jazza, and you have the option to either color it digitally or you can print the art and color it traditionally, using any medium (paint, watercolor, marker, pencil, etc) – but you must preserve and respect the original linework boundaries.
The submissions will be judged on, the technical execution and quality of the colored-in entry, also the creativity and originality of the mediums, plus the lighting and colors used. And finally, the efficacy with which emotion has been portrayed/amplified using the colors.
If you'd like to join the contest, you can download the linework, check how to enter and read all the rules on Jazza's website. There's two categories, the open one for the pro artists, and another one for the beginners.
The prizes are interesting, like for the open category 1st PRIZE is a Huion GT-156HD V2 Digital Display Drawing Tablet! And more prizes!
Now here's my entry:
