Hello Steemit world!
Today I'd like to share with you my inktober drawing, I have chosen to draw a portrait of the beautiful Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen The Mother Of Dragons!
This was the first time I used ink to draw a portrait and it was a great experience, since I'm used to draw with graphite and the fact that you can't correct a mistake once it's done, made it a challenge for me to complete it, so I'm happy with the result!
Medium used:
- Graphite Pencils 2H
- Ballpoint Pen Ink, Liquid Ink pen, Calligraphy Pen Waterbased ink.
- Mono Zero Eraser
----------------------------
Now here's a step by step progress showing how I drew it:
Step 1- First I started with drawing the basic outlines of the face, using the 2H Graphite Pencil, this way the lines won't be too dark, and I can easily erase it or simply draw above it.
- The Eyes are the window to the soul, that's why I always start with them!
----------------------------
----------------------------
Step 2- Next I used the Ballpoint Pen Ink to trace and draw the details, I also use the hatching linear drawing technique to shade and bring the form of the face.

----------------------------
Step 3- for the hair I used the Calligraphy Pen Water-based ink to draw big hair line and fill all the hair area, then I used the Liquid Ink pen to draw the fine hair lines in the edges to give it more realistic look!
That's it! I hope you'll like it, and thank's a lot for your support, I really appreciate it!
Peace.
