In my corner work there are many many small sketches and even if sometimes I use them to collect some ideas for the new artworks, some of them are really nice to watch. So I thought "Why don't use them to decor a part of my walls?" and after "I want to try to use scraps of old cardboard boxes to create a cheap frameworks!" ^_^
Yes, I did it!
Maybe you want to try to do the same things or to spent some creative times with your children, so I want to show you how I did it ^_^
At first, I cut 2 identical circles from the old cardboard boxes and I cut a circle inside one of them, as you can see in the pic.
I colored the cardboard hoop using my acrylic color (you can use pencils, pens or others).
I cut the sketch that I drew some days ago in the form of the circle and I glued it over the cardboard circle.
I glued the colored hoop on the previous circles and I added a twine beside it (using a pieces of tape ^_^) and it was ready to hang ^_^
See ya soon

That would make a really cool clock!
You're right!!! Well, maybe the clock will be one of my next creative project ;) Great idea, dear friend! ^_^
I've been writing since 4:00 AM and can't stop... I guess I'm on a roll!
You have to take of care of yourself, remember! ^_^ (since the 4:00 am??? You've more energy of me, you make me feel a very old woman :P )
Thanks for this @silviabeneforti . I tell all my music students that they must name their compositions, because once it is named it is something - a piece of art. Perhaps the same is true for framing a sketch. An artist friend of mine told me that, "Nothing says 'finished' like putting a painting in a frame."
I also heard that, "No great work of art is ever completed - only abandoned." This one I DO believe :)

This is such a great idea. If we ever have children over again this'll be a great craft project!
It's a nice craft project also for the child inside us ;)
Well, you inspired me to make some art. But it was definitely child level stuff!
Nice post
Thanks, Silvia ^_^
Spending some time with your children doing this is a great idea. I often go to estate sales (second hand sales) and find odd sized frames which would work well if you have them on hand. Would send you some but I think you are across that big pond. LOL - Great post. - Troy
The eyes make him look like the old Disney style of cartoons. I like it a lot.
I love so much the old Disney style, when I was a child I learned to read thanks to Mickey Mouse ^_^
