My new artwork: just finished and ready to dry

I can't explain the feeling when I "know" that a new artwork is really done, but it's something that I feel inside myself and make me think "Ok, now it's ready!".

So, I can say that my new artwork is ready to dry. 

I decided to leave the face just evident from the shadows and the hair style in white. I worked on the background using shading and one of my wooden stamp.

It's an oil painting on canvas 40 cm x 40 cm  (15,7"x15,7").

Many thanks, @reddust ! I love to use oil colors for the shading that I can do with them. I use many tubes of "terra d'ombra bruciata" (burnt umber) colors in my work to realize the right shades :D

I use burnt and raw umber to catch subtle golden colors too, one of my favorite colors.

so, I worked on it for about 7-8 days, just because I had to wait the color was dry step by step (I can paint some "effects" just when the first color was dry ^_^ )

This is othman ancien outfit right ? Such a great legacy the othman empire has left, and khilafa was doing just great untill kamel ataturc showed up with new secular regime

For the dress I was inspired by many ancient illustrations from Russian and Turkish miniaturists, so I can say that yes, maybe an othman ancient outfit ^_^ I know just a few about the history of the othman empire and ataturk, but I think it's a very intrigued history to know.
