It depends, sometimes I work for 3-4 hours per day on a single artwork, but during a day I also sketch, work on other pieces or to search/try new materials and tools. At the end, it's difficult to say how many hours I need to finish a painting because, for example, using oil colors there are some hours to dry between the different layers on the canvas ^^
