My dog Max and I found this quiet little pond one evening while exploring. He's a big old dog, so we like walks with some longer distances to them. This pond is into the field overlooked by a tiny parking lot/rest area. This rest area is off of a gravel county road I was following looking for the 10 Mile Trail. The trail seems to be many spots of low maintenance nature preserve areas, but I haven't figured out if a specific trail exists. The "trail" may refer to the gravel county road its self, which connects these small parking areas. The existence of the 10 Mile Trail seems to be slipping away with a rusty sign nearing last few years. This sign may end soon, but it stands in front of the 10 Mile Baptist Church, whom its name will live on with.

So I went back today for a picture of the sign I was talking about and found out I botched the details of this story pretty good. I was out looking for a trail based on an old tattered sign, but it was Goshen Trail, not Ten Mile Trail. As you can see it is part of Ten Mile Creek Sate Fishing And Wildlife Area, though. That would be the Ten Mile Baptist Church I mentioned behind it too.
