for the first time I want to tell you that when I saw this movie I was absolutely shocked for 3 days .. i was only thinking about it but I could not say anything in conclusion . finally I decided that I can't blame Humbert in loving Lolita , I think that he is too fucking egoist but I know how hard it is to deny your own desires when it's about love . but the fact is that Humbert destroyed the life of young and beautiful girl , who had no idea about life and this is the only problem in this controversial issue .
Was the relationship between Lolita and Humbert passionate or destructive? Is the well-respected and academic protagonist really in love with the young nymphet, or is he a perverted man who is simply trying to cover up his awful actions with his beautiful language?
if you have seen the movie called Lolita , can u please share your thoughts about this film to me ? and how do you thinks can we compare Lolita with Leon ? write your opinions in comment.. thanks in advance !
hay, I slowly started to realise that Humbert was not a reliable narrator at all and although I had a lot of confusion about whether or not he truly was in love with Lolita, I came to the conclusion that the book is not a tragic love story about a forbidden relationship, it is about how a middle-aged man repeatedly took advantage of a young girl. One could say that she also wanted a relationship from the way she acted. However, it should have been Humbert’s responsibility to realise that it was not right to take advantage of Lolita.

after watching this movie I found myself asking the same questions over and over again. Was I being tricked just like Lolita, into thinking that Humbert was to be trusted? but still believe in his sense ...
