this drawing, although it turned out not to be worth it, has taken ages to do.
That's the trouble with trying these big projects that only make sense once the whole thing is done.
Fine example here, as this is only half the drawing of course.
Or less.
it's actually a book, at the moment.
It is the pages of a block, as you can see by the binding.
But it didn't really work out, I am afraid.
Another failed project.
2018 better be better.
"good, better, best,
I'll never never rest,
until my good is better and my better best"
folk saying
it has been hard for me to remember that saying which I have carried from very young.
I can't even remember where I picked it up
I know it's stamped on John Deere farm machinery, or at least some version of it.
but google images doesn't offer me a quick image, surprisingly
My life is sometimes a little too much for me to cope with, but one gets through the days and tries again.
I have talked long and boringly about how nothing is working out this year.
so, it wouldn't be right for this to work out...
here's to the new year
PS
some of the pages are groovy.
but really more the ones with no details are the nicest.
all BiC biros on paper, A4 heavy drawing paper, with a lot of grain.
Really nice paper.
Came from the big art supplies supermarket Jeco en Calle Pelayo en Chueca in Madrid
First image (the mock up) inverted, obviously.
Thanks for reading, if indeed anybody got this far
If anyone would like to see an extensive, although unfortunately by no means complete, collection of SpaiNgaroo artworks, they can visit my main domain
There is some work for sale at Saatchi online gallery
and a Redbubble print on demand shop
and a fabric and wallpaper shop on Spoonflower too although many of the designs are still not available for sale.
sorry
