Why did I call this "Not Lara"? Because it started off as Lara Croft, but in the very next version it became something else, which I was too lazy to name right away, so I simply called it NotLara. That stuck and I never came back to give it a proper name.
This is merely the sketch, in Part 2 I'll show you the 3d version I made, based on this.
This was done in Photoshop, on a Wacom Intuos 3 (larger size).
The first sketch, as usual simply a flash of an idea in my head, jotting it down in pencil and later coloring it in Photoshop:
Cleaned up a bit, now no longer meant to bear any resemblance to Lara:

Thanks! Hehe I don't really know, I just needed a huge dangerous organism with a very large mouth and a prehensile tongue, and I also wanted an eyeball in there somewhere... and I guess dragons were what came to mind first

Probably a great sci-fi shooter version of Lara Croft. It would be a massive improvement over the original in my opinion.
I know what you mean, just last week I made a fractal with Marvel's Venom character in mind, but as I kept working on it, it turned out very different -- thus I named it... "Venom, Gone!" Nice picture, very dynamic and, as mentioned in another comment, erotic, indeed.
