There will be some smug people out there, but supply chains have not totally broken down yet. Just certain things sold out for now. Those with a 'Brexit stash' will feel prepared too.

It's pretty much the same here in Mongolia. We are doing better than most actually, certainly better than our relatives in the USA (sure never expected to say that in the middle of a hypothetical global crisis!). You can find almost everything in the stores here except masks and hand sanitizer, and most restaurants and stores are still open. The masks and hand sanitizer are the only two things in our preparedness stash we've needed to use, but it's still comforting to have the rest in case things get rough for a bit.
Some areas will fare better and others worse, but ultimately we will get through this!
