MY FLAME ART ENTRY - A Tribute To All Victims

Hi,

This is my entry for the drawing contest hosted by @flamered.

I drew this as a tribute to all the victims of the NCCC Mall fire that happened in Davao City, Philippines. I mourned with the victims' families, loved ones and the rest of the people of Davao when I heard the news. Rescuers were challenged by dark plumes of smoke as they attempted to rescue lives inside. It was a sad Christmas for us but all we have to do is to pray for the victims.

Finished Product.

I started by creating the hand.

I started to shade the edges...

Then I added the NCCC mall,

Adding some fire

Then I started to used the ball point pen for darkening.

That's it. The finished product.

------ A Short Poem --------

 Our lives are filled with fire
 Orange, Yellow, Red
 As we fall down, our heart remains
 Shock is still in tears
 Stand still with our burning desire
 Pieced of memories you can't escape
 Remembrance closed off with tape
 The Saddest awful truth you will ever come to find
 Is they are not always with whom to spend our lives
