Nowadays, people don't like it slow and still, everything is done hasty, as quick as possible - spend as less time as possible on it - make it flashy. Do not investigate and dwell upon something for days, scratch the surface, toss it to someone else or put it under the rag.
If you find yourself amongst these - skip Tarkovsky - if not, you might give it a try, but it's not an easy ride, especially for the first experience, with time it gets better! Just like Tarkovsky! :)
In an interview, he was asked what he would say to young people (at that time) - you can find the translated answer below the video, or look the whole interview with the original translation.
I don’t know… I think I’d like to say only that they should learn to be alone and try to spend as much time as possible by themselves. I think one of the faults of young people today is that they try to come together around events that are noisy, almost aggressive at times. This desire to be together in order to not feel alone is an unfortunate symptom, in my opinion. Every person needs to learn from childhood how to spend time with oneself. That doesn’t mean he should be lonely, but that he shouldn’t grow bored with himself because people who grow bored in their own company seem to me in danger, from a self-esteem point of view."
Scene and music from Solaris (1972):
And if you dare to start exploring the world of Tarkovsky here are some movie titles to consider:
Stalker, Solaris, Andrei Rublev, Mirror... or explore it on your own and in your own way :)

I dont know if I have seen him any of his movies but they sound interesting, like my kind of movie. I like movies that make you think and that can be analyzed for hidden or deeper meaning. I may have to check into his movies further. Unfortunately though, I only have Netflix for TV and movies so my options are super limited and I have a feeling his movies wont be on there. Who knows though, maybe I'll get lucky. I'll definitely check it out. They sound interesting

He was one of the GREAT ones @svemirac … I agree :>)
:D
I approve of this message.
Movies worth being seen. Excellent cinematography, it's not for everyone but he had his own very personal style. And for that time, it was never heard before.

Hello, I didn't know this director but because of the summary you make of your work I find it very interesting, I am passionate about spirituality and knowing yourself, although I am a sociable person I like solitude, I always meet people who tell me if I'm not bored, and I share what the director thinks, how can someone get bored of their own company and want to please others? this is something incoherent.
Thank you for post. Greetings.
