I paid for it, cause I wanted to get those extra features. But I believe it was only a few hundred dollars USD. so it wasn't too bad. The workflow is sweet cause it shows you on the canvas what is on the timelinee as you scrub it. so you can find parts of clips quickly.

yeah, I think so. The paid version lets you take out the noise of dark footage. It works well.
