RE: been feeling guilty about eating other animals

in #art7 years ago

same here. I love the taste of vegetarian food (vegan is a bit too extreme for me, I mean those chicken eggs are not going to eat themselves, and pasture raised hens are humanely raised from where I get them. Dairy is tricky because unless you know if the animals are treated well, we could be participating in animal cruelty.

I have to see a doctor to get a better understanding of this, but I find myself getting fuzzy and fatigued when I do not eat meat. However, since becoming keto-adapted, my body now has significantly lower protein need, so now I only eat meat when I have a terrible craving because I just trust that's my body needs something in it. I have no attachment to it though and I will switch to a different nutrient source as soon as I find one.

sorry way off topic. :]

Yeah, I think one good thing we can do is ensure how the animals are treated to avoid animal cruelty. It's also quite a bit more expensive to eat vegan, and I'm basically broke, so there's that barrier lol. It's always good to trust your body and what it's telling you :)

my body is telling me to tell you to look into ketogenics.
You can eat super healthy on a very tight budget using limited ingredients and storage space. :] the future is going to be awesome, hang in there bro. I think we're all going through a rough time now.
