You know one of the biggest crimes this system of control is responsible for is stealing our creativity. As human beings creativity is in our very essence, whether that be through writing, art work, music, or just simple self expression. The problem is this is all beaten out of us from an early age. I mean we get breadcrumbs to express our artistic sides, maybe an hour or 2 in a whole school week (although the funding for arts in schools is now heavily reduced) Then its straight into a 9-5 office job until you drop. Where is the time to be creative?
Mainstream education is the thief of a childs creative spirit, hours spent learning useless stuff like algebra. Sitting in classrooms taught not to question authority, their opinion doesn't count unless it is inline with the systems version of everything. What do children most like to do? Use their imagination and play, now in some schools Ive heard they have cut lunch breaks down to just half an hour now! This is nothing less than a prison, and thats exactly what it used to feel like for me too. If youre good at repeating things like a borg you will slot perfectly into life as we know it with good grades or a degree, could this be the degree that you have been indoctrinated to by chance??
I remember when I started to question life in my early 30s I actually realised that really I hadn't created anything, and worse still I had no idea what my creative abilities even were!! I went straight from school into work looking at the same four walls each day making someone else richer! I really resented the system for that and still do to some extent.
The powers that be don't like creativity, or self expression. I mean have you seen how they dress? In grey suits with no features, they dont have a creative bone in their body, for them its just all about control and domination. The reason they hate creativity so much is because it is a powerful way to get truth and awareness out which completely bypasses the conscious mind, or the filter if you like. A good piece of music with powerful words, or a piece of art which tells a story is a much more powerful way to get a message across. Art and creativity has the potential to completely change societies and cultures, and that is no good at all for a dominating force.
To progress as a species and to CREATE a better World we have to get back in touch with that creative essence, which obviously starts with the children.

i totally agree with you man! as ive grown older ive come to realize we are actually like robots living in a society of people who wants us to live by their rules and standards. i say fuck society! here's to all the people like you and me who thinks otherwise! i hate how society thinks there is only like a linear path to living one's life and being creative and thinking out of the box is considered taboo. thank you for this post bro! i love it! :)

Engineering box factory workers, very sad indeed. I remember my secondary education, I was top of the class for art but was ungraded for my final exams because I painted a dragon out of protest instead of a bowl of fruit lol.
