Have you ever heard of AI generated art? It’s a fascinating concept that combines artificial intelligence and art to create something completely unique. In it, machines create images and other artwork using algorithms that are programmed with specific parameters. The results are often surprisingly lifelike, making it difficult to tell if the piece was created by a human or a computer!
With the rise of technology, new forms of art are emerging. AI art is one of those forms that has begun to captivated artists and tech enthusiasts alike with its beauty and complexity. Abstract painting to photography generation, these AI algorithms are pushing boundaries and inspiring a new wave of creativity. I personally love photography, even though I don't always make time for it, so I will admit I was pretty intrigued when I learned about people creating photos using this technology. The most interesting part so far for me though has been creating images of characters (anime) or even images of people to play with video creation. So, today in this blog post, I will be sharing some prompts I use for two different AI programs I have been playing with, and the images they spit out. Hope you enjoy it.

Pretty cool, huh? As you can see, not all AI generators are created equal. Some allow for specific drop down menus to be filled out, or extra information to be given, where as others are just a text prompt.
The above images were created only using a text prompt, no additional parameters were set, in order to keep it as fair as possible on a basic level.

I certainly enjoyed that.
Keep an eye out for more of these posts from me too. I will continue to try new AI art/image generators, but I will say that right now my go-to generator is MidJourney.
As we see through even these limited examples, AI generated art serves as a testament to the amazing possibilities that technology brings.
We must also recognize that this kind of art is far from perfect and many improvements need to be made going forward. That is visible but some of the images above where faces are not fully faces, as an example. As a result, any conversation about AI generated art should weigh in the advantages that come with it but also take note of its potential issues.
It will certainly be interesting to see how AI generated art advances in the future with new innovations coming out every day. Its potential (and mine as a creator) seems almost limitless.
