Amazing. I think I like it better than the original picture. Sometimes with art it's hard to find something that can inspire us to such work.

I love how you said 'Finished, Not Perfect' We are our own worst crtics aren't we.

Thanks! Yes, it is one of the greatest advice when it comes to art. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with the aspiration to do everything perfect, especially when you're working close-up on a particular part. So it's important to step back once in a while and look at the painting from a distance. Even the imperfect parts might work from a distance. What matters is to finish it. At least finish the thought. Nevertheless, I often struggle with finishing, especially. At what point do you consider the painting to be finished? It always seems as if you could tweak a bit, touch up this and that..
So, another way to look at it is through the words of da Vinci: "Art is never finished, only abandoned".
