Thanks! Yes, it is one of the greatest advice when it comes to art. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with the aspiration to do everything perfect, especially when you're working close-up on a particular part. So it's important to step back once in a while and look at the painting from a distance. Even the imperfect parts might work from a distance. What matters is to finish it. At least finish the thought. Nevertheless, I often struggle with finishing, especially. At what point do you consider the painting to be finished? It always seems as if you could tweak a bit, touch up this and that..
So, another way to look at it is through the words of da Vinci: "Art is never finished, only abandoned".
