'Moths To the Flames'
This is a metaphor. When I was taking this image, the idea was to portray the brainwashing media system that lures people in its pleasurable incentives and keeps them there. The reality is sacrificed for repetitive dreams of pleasure, wealth, control, the false freedom offered through veils and veils of an illusion people are willing to believe in because TV program, Internet and all other channels strongly support it. People behind the scenes are creating our views, making us believe in things that are not real.
From afar, the fake glitter looks luring and promising, offering change, hope and whatever else a person needs to believe it will change his/her life so that she/he doesn't need to make an effort. The real content comes from within, from own mind, from own feelings, from own decisions. It's easier to believe in grand-scale illusion served daily, than understand that only the reality of the present moment is actually real. Media 'truths' are illusions, distractions causing frustration, depriving people of happiness.
Welcome to the land of illusions they are creating for us to believe in. Realize that all the glitter quickly vanishes once a person comes closer. Or, better yet, accept the reality and live your life with pleasure. It is a real life, find again what is around you and be thankful for it. There is no other life waiting somewhere, only dreams put in your mind by the media. Instead of searching for what they've told you that exist, rather appreciate people who are here for you, love the ones who care for you. Show respect out of love, don't show hate coming from the frustration of uncaught dreams. It's the right path to the real happiness. Avoid all the shining glitter someone is trying to make you believe is real.

Incredible! It's a beyond colorful and inspiring spectacle. You're right. Our present reality is usually dull and boring, that many resort to television, social media and other sources of temporary relief.
Currently, life is full of illustion to some since they are not living in the real world plus the fake news that somehow adds complexity of the situation.
Even in art is not exmpted in an illustion aspect
All the brilliance that the media is imposing is nothing more than a cover. The work of propaganda during important state events is clearly visible. For example, elections. The media receive a command to show the "right" people in the "right" light. They should be given their due, they do their work well - even though their work is a brainwashing of the population.
In the digital war, the one who wins the most and more convincingly wins. The person who tells the truth is limited by truth and facts. The person who lies is NOTHING bounded. It is a fact.
People like a beautiful cover. This is seen not only on TV. We face daily "imposition" of something. For example, the main pages of magazines, beautiful and bright advertising. The system imposes on the person values. A machine of propaganda perfectly knows human weaknesses and uses them. If you need to hide the growing unemployment in the country or other social problems - first of all you need to distract the population. To distract people from real problems (especially those problems that people constantly discuss) is not easy. For this reason, the state creates artificial problems and draws attention to them. Or, on the example of Russia, the state distracts people with news about Ukraine. There already no one believes in these pugalki.
The day before yesterday I created a message about the "matrix" of the 21st century or in simple words - "Plato's Cave". This ancient philosopher described all these problems very long ago. This once again proves that the main methods of manipulation were invented a long time ago. Therefore, as they say: "Everything new is the forgotten old".

People who live for money and good names mean living in They are living in falsehood and lies.
Instead they are people who "escape from the facts". Opportunities that do not exist with attachment to money and good name. So from that, one needs to get out of the illusions that grab hold of him. He needs to get out of the lies and freedom that he's been hugging very tightly before. Need to see and understand all sorts. In addition, he can live with full meaning and happiness.
How do you do it? , people who need the freedom to do the things that are needed. For that, he needs to erase all his attachments to the idea, identity, hope, fear and various forms of feelings and thoughts that arise in mystery. He then comes to the emptiness itself, the fact of existence. At this point, one finds clarity and peace.
However, this is not enough. At this point, the right person attaches to the emptiness itself, which is attached to the idea of emptiness that can also lead to the inner and the inner emptiness. Therefore, he must move forward by releasing the emptiness itself, ie releasing the idea of emptiness. Similarly he attaches to the emptiness, he then returns to the world. He returns to life and moves within society.
However, he lives in true freedom, that is freedom from attachment to anything. He can think, feel, make money, and hunt a good name, but all things can only be used to help the universe itself, and not the purpose of life itself.

Ah yes the allure of false promises- of fools gold. The irony is, even Steemit can become another honey pot for those not careful where they tread. You can see it everywhere you look, even on this very comment thread! Here’s to hoping most of us can remove the blinders before it’s too late. Posts like this can’t do anything but help, so good on you man.. We just all need to make sure what we do, we do for the right reasons, and not for selfish ones, and everything should turn out ok!
