'The Gaping Whale'
This is one of those images where we search for shapes. However, it is not one containing many forms. At least, I haven't found many. The major one that I've found (and named the photograph after) is the oval shape in the centre. It reminds me of a huge gaping whale swimming at the surface of the sea. This element defines the whole composition to be a marine motif. To me. To you, it might be something completely different, and I'd love to hear what your imagination brings to the table.
Colour scheme is quite interesting. The white parts are the clouds and some wave crests. They are paired with yellow and a touch of orange which both cannot be real. One would expect blue in their place if it was to be the sea. These could the rocks on the shore or patches of sand. A dark area (just under the whale) somehow brings an uneasy feeling to the mix. The fear of depth comes to my mind. There is a mountain in the background, on the left side.
Now you guys. Tell me what do you see/feel/imagine while observing this art photo. Don't go along with my thoughts if you are able to see some different imagery. Be very welcome to surprise me. :)
Enjoy! :)

amazing pic
Once there was nothingness, only darkness. As this universe is dual, for the balance, light came, bright white light, with rayes of yellow and orange. It carried the Colours of stars. It felt that heaviness of darkness and it wanted to set it free, to transform it into light. As darkness was so heavy, that light needed to surround all blackness and it started “eating it” slowly, patiently. As all life energy does! Because of that collision, new dimensions are created, the most of them carry yellow light as the most powerful life source can only bring that darkness into light, into life! This image is half of the process in my imagination. Namaste🙏
After watching this art it seems like to me that A dark cave filled with water .
This cave wait everyday for some light. But the light always come from opposition way. But the water helps that cave to light up. So, when the light reflect on the water , Water make a beautiful reflection on the cave and the light is reflecting like crystal clear . But there are some deep place in the cave where water lighting reflection can't arrive .
@velimir That's all my useless imagination : )
Hello!
I see the dog's image in the center. Her mouth is open and her tongue is sticking out. She is hot, she is standing on a field full of something bright and blooming. She likes it, there are light clouds in the sky, but she likes it too. She enjoys life.
Yes, that's what I see.
You have awesome photos and a vision of this world.
Thank you!
This is a real abstract, in this way it is also amazing. I think, prediction of patterns of this picture is depending on experienced observation. And on my observation i can clearly see that, this is a cave under the rocky mountain. The core dark part could be a deep niche.
Thank you @velimir to make me comment on this picture of thousand thoughts.
Really very amazing art photography dear.. Its really your high quality thought..you always giving perfect art on your blog.. nside the cave there are rocks and water, because if the cave is usually covered with a very sturdy stone, your photo reminds me of a movie about the kingdom.. Just super... the water helps that cave to light up. So, when the light reflect on the water , Water make a beautiful reflection on the cave and the light is reflecting like crystal clear . But there are some deep place in the cave where water lighting reflection can't arrive . thanks to sharing for your good post of art photography dear..very well done.. @velimir
I think the photo is in a cave, and inside the cave there are rocks and water, because if the cave is usually covered with a very sturdy stone, your photo reminds me of a movie about the kingdom, your post is very good and useful to us, because the photos you post like historic photos and I am proud of you, safe and successful @velimir

Nice photography plz check my blog and upvote me for engourage me
I experience Deja VU when viewing the picture you post. it seems, I once entered the cave, when the flashlight turned on the situation like this.
Awesome picture. To me, it reminds me of the sea/water as well, but rather than a whale, to me it looks like some water in a cave. Near the entrance, so the light flutters around and dances on the rock walls.
So similar subject, different interpretation :)
Wow!! It's amazing
Initially I thought it is a gaping whale till I read the post. I was wondering why the inner mouth looks so rocky. I love the concept of this picture. Where did you click it Velimir.

If you have ever seen the movie There Will Be Blood then possibly you will remember the incredible soundtrack by Jonny Greenwood - this image encapsulates his inspired composition of moaning cellos and shrieking violins...all setting the landscape for Southern California's barren, almost menacing oil fields of late 19th century. Your post is beautiful and stirs Greenwood's music within me.
very textural! I want to run my hands across it. very lovely
