The name of this art photograph is: 'The seagull'
This photograph gives me a feeling of relaxation but not to the point of inactivity. The water surface is only slightly disturbed by the breeze, and it is the only element working against it. The amount of disturbance is just right, and I like it. The blue water surface in the bottom of the image is dead-still and it is quite enough. If the entire surface was a plain mirror, the image would probably not be so interesting.
With all things said, the seagull at the top of the bow of the dingy is definitely not the main element. However, I must admit, that it spices up the story, so much that I named the photograph as I did. Actually, the white dingy and the seagull almost blend into each other, even so much that one does have to look around to find the seagull. Luckily, there are grey feathers distinguishing the seagull from the boat.
The main element of this image is colour. Notice how the cold part of the spectrum, represented by blue and green, is splendidly balanced with the warm part, represented by yellow and two small areas of red. No matter how small the red is, it makes the most subliminal impact on the observer. Turn your attention to how the colour temperature also creates colour perspective. From the cold blue in the foreground, through green, it floats up to yellow and ends in red!
Light and dark areas are well balanced throughout the entire image. Two white areas are both well positioned, jointly balancing the dark and medium parts.
Enjoy!

Nice shots!
When you stated, "No matter how small the red is, it makes the most subliminal impact on the observer. Turn your attention to how the colour temperature also creates colour perspective." -- this resonates w/ me.
Yes, I'd say that indeed #color is the main focal point of this ♦♦ I see you spell it 'colour' & i use 'color' [Ha - I'm american, so I guess that's WHY )
Keep up the good work, & your explanation of #Perspective is, I feel, helpful to some people !
thank you, my friend! :)
I like the fluidity of the colors. It has aspects that are reminiscent of painting technics.
I always have had interest in photography and filming but I never really thought about doing it more often. I used to take a lot of amateur scenic pictures with my phone but never considered doing it more professional. Do you use a professional camera, and what program do you use to edit them? I think I might start taking pictures again and post them on steem :)
I use photoshop to work on my scenes. Have several cameras, but nowadays almost any is good, if you know what you want to achieve art-wise. So, looking forward to your works!
Thank you. I am not as active on steem but I think I will find it enjoyable to try and create some art work :)
I think this picture is more about boat than a seagul, boat gotta mean something....
interesting observation. I said it's not about the seagull in the second paragraph. what do you think is the meaning of the boat?
For me it's loneliness, also I can see that boat might mean a great plans for the future that awaiting someone... I'm more pessimistic so i can see more loneliness, alone like this boat, and seagul that passing by means some event in my life that doesn't hold in it for a long time
I like your meaning. To me is much brighter than that but that's what art is for! Each of us can feel and think about it slightly different. :-)
Wow! This photo has some painterly qualities to it, @velimir
