LOL, I would say it cost a ton of sleep....
You have loads of detail, and excellent shading techniques, which to me is really difficult with a mono-tone drawing. The architecture is really intriguing and looks to have been influenced by a couple different styles as well... Many structures like that often end up becoming part of the locals houses. A stone here, a cornerblock there, a rock walkway, until much of the old structure is missing.

Thank you very much for your words, if you are right many old constructions have been razed by the people of the places and have lost many pieces, is in particular is preserved about 100 meters more or less the rest is what I have commented has disappeared. Thanks for going through my post.

Thank you very much for having passed and voted my drawing, I think a good initiative.

Incredible detail. I feel my hand cramping as I stare at this awesome piece.

Thank you very much for your comment, Jajajajajaja if the hand at the end is very tense by the pressure to reflect as faithfully as possible all the details. Thanks for going through my post.

Esta genial los detalles que lograste con el mismo color. Impresionante.

Muchas gracias por tu comentario y me alegro que te haya gustado.

Thank you for such beautiful drawing of the aqueduct of Morella capital. Impressive size of the drawing with a lot of small details of the stone made wall, like the color, Sanguine Color gives the drawing the touch of retro appearance and makes it look like really old Artwork. Also it was interesting to know the historical information and to know what materials you used for that.

Thank you very much for your comment stef1, I like to do the maximum details of what I draw and the truth is that color sanguine is very original and gives an old touch to the drawings, is my favorite color and material. Thank you for having gone through my post.

Solid work! It's such a big drawing! Very well done.

This is more of an ironic comment but I was just looking up the meaning of aqueduct hahahaha I had it confused with a recent post I did about the canals in Venice. An honest mistake on my part but I found it funny coming across your drawing of an aqueduct.

I've been to Spain but never Morella. Is it still standing there? Your drawing has so much detail! How long did this take you? This has to be my number one question to artists hahaha it's SO detailed. Amazing work.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much jocqua for your comment ironic Jajajajajaja, very beautiful The city of Venice I have not been but a friend if it was and taught me pictures and is a marvel.
You should visit Morella when you return to Spain you will like it.
If he is still standing after the passing of the centuries. Well it took me to draw about 15 days, because I only draw at night after work and about 2 or 3 hours per night, both in this and another I did the castle of Santa Barbara there are many details on the stones and I like to be the most faithful to the reality of What I draw. Thank you for having gone through my post and comment.

Man! Fifteen days! That's great. I love seeing the amount of effort that goes into a piece like that because it shows your dedication to the art! I thought it may have been a while considering the detail in the stones. But even so I think you did it relatively fast only working on it in the evenings. Very well done! I'm sure I will be back to Spain one day and when I am I would love to visit Morella. Thanks again for sharing! Cheers.

I haven't seen a photo of that place before but that painting is just WOW! It looks so so realistic, beautiful and detailed. Did you paint on site or you took a photo of it first?

Thank you very much audreybits for your comment, I made a sketch on a sheet when we visited Morella and also some pictures and with the 2 options I drew it.

That's awesome! This came out really nicely!

Beautiful. I love that the big part of the painting is dedicated mostly to the aqueduct. I like how you drew each of the brick ^_^.

Congratulations for your curie vote =).

Thank you very much friend scrawly , I'm glad you like it is very well preserved that part of the aqueduct and there are many stones and almost all in different ways, but I enjoyed a lot drawing it 😜

My hand is hurting just from looking at it! That's some amazing detail :)

Thank you very much for your words and I'm glad you liked it and you went through here.

Hey @vicenteajb! Congrats on another curie vote :)
I like the details and effort that you put into each of the brick and the architecture is magnificent. It is quite a big piece too and I am guessing that you may have spent some time drawing this? It looks almost like a sepia photo of the monument. Thank you for sharing your art with us :)

Hello marblely thank you very much for your congratulations, I like to be the most faithful to the reality and there are many stones in that aqueduct, took me to draw about 15 days since I only draw at night 2 or 3 hours after work. Thank you for passing by and commenting.

It must have been very therapeutic drawing the stones. It is truly a beautiful drawing :) I wish a good weekend there @vicenteajb.

Thank you and enjoy the weekend

It looks very realistic. I like that you took a photo of you with your drawing so that we can understand the size of it. Have you counted the bricks that you have there? WOW! It looks like you spent hours and hours making this artwork. How many days did it take? And how do you feel while making these bricks? Aren't you inpatient? I know I would be.. one brick, two bricks, three bricks, OMG, I want to have it done :D But I know that artists have a lot of patience.

My favorite part of your drawing would be the piece of land behind the construction. It's so nice and it makes the whole drawing feel real. Were you inspired by a photograph or have you visited the place?

Thank you for sharing! The detail on your drawing is breathtaking.

Thank you very much delishtreats for your words, if that film is about 75 centimeters, there are many stones in that aqueduct buffff, it took me to draw about 15 days since I only draw at night after work about 2 or 3 hours, enjoy a lot but had to be fixed in each of L As stones and reflect the details to the utmost with patience, that area that is at the bottom of the arch is my favorite, we were in Morella for several days, is a typical medieval village and the castle is one of the few impregnable that was in his time. Thank you for having passed and having commented.

It anyway sounds like a lot of time and patience that you invested in this artwork. But it was all worth it :) And you also had nice vacation with your family :)

If many hours of patience but enjoying the work done and with the family on holiday is the best.

Wonderful drawing, I love the care you had to make stone by stone, you have built it again :)

I understand that until the sixties it was used to irrigate agricultural crops. or am I wrong?

but I must say that my amazement is to see a picture painted with blood, is a technique little seen in these times, I like the reddish color that gives as a result elaborate pictorial pieces. really pleased to see the dedication and a technique that has to be rescued.

in my town usually make some pictures with some very similar colors in the color but they do it with a technique called Chimó. Chimó is a byproduct of tobacco is a paste that when it comes into contact with water is diluted obtaining a false paint and with this paint work of people in the field and similar motifs.

Thank you for sharing the technique and of course the aqueduct.

greetings friend, health and freedom

Thank you very much for your comment, if it is very entertaining and much patience as there are many stones in that aqueduct and I like to reflect the most what I draw, I really like the sanguine and the effect that remains is very original, it is interesting what the pasta of tobacco , and thank you for passing through here. A hug friend.

This drawing with a rocky look seems very creative to me. It reminded me a little of the colors of rock art. And it seems very clever to me that I could draw all of that using only a shade of color. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much iraidamatheus for your words, if that color has a very special effects on stones and buildings and the truth is not in use, I personally like it a lot. Thanks for going through my post.
