Hello friends!
I gradually switch to A3 format, I used to work on A4 format earlier. Decided that it was time to do something more serious. The big picture looks more authoritative, I can gift it to someone. I paint with water colors that are produced in Russia. They are called "Belie nochi", issued by the city of St. Petersburg. The paper in my works is also Russian. Unfortunately, earlier in Russia (when it was still the USSR) the paper was of much higher quality, now it is not very good. My dream is to try paper for watercolor Arches or Saunders Waterford. To date, this paper is a little expensive for me. I hope that I'm not good at drawing because of the paper, although I can be mistaken, of course, and it's in my crooked hands.
Today I drew a field. Hot Summer. Hurry, it would come!

это белая гуашь, если мелкие. а те которые кучками - просто полусухая кисть колонковая
Гуашь - не честно))))
Я придерживаюсь теории Воцмуша. Как грица, все полезно, что в рот полезло))) Любые способы хороши, если они направлены на достижение цели))
С Воцмушем не буду спорить)

I tried to paint with watercolour as well before but I prefer chalk and pencil. :D

All my paintings are at home in germany. I will stay in Mexico till the end of june. So it would take a while to show you.
But I started with fruits or easy landscapes.

I have to be honest with you and admit that landscapes are not my cup of coffee, but this one is done so good, in a way I think I wouldn't be able to do it ever :) You are so good in watercolor work, and it's a great pleasure for me to see your work and progress.
Have you tried Fabriano papers? They are less expensive than those you mentioned but also great.
