That looks like a paradise white and shiny snow and blue sky. Nowadays when climate change is so critical topic and melting polar ice caps something that we all worried about to see such snow covered land brings me back to my childhood time, when we read the books about polar exploration.

Christmas is a mandatory celebration.

Once upon a time there was a selfish and dictating King who had his kingdom submerged in the worst poverty ever seen in the history of the island.
The people were desperate but the fear made them endure so much misery they just wanted to live and expect a miracle.
But within the island a group of liberals was being formed, a group of men and women who no longer wanted to live like that, they had children and they wanted their children to live differently, they wanted their children to live on a free and harmonious island like the that they knew
They knew it was very difficult because the King had too much power.
Christmas came with her cold weather, the island was covered with ice, but the strongest thing was that the King forbade to celebrate good night, by the King's command no house in the kingdom could turn on lights, or decorate Christmas, but what blew up of anger to its inhabitants was that no child could receive Christmas gifts.
Immediately the group of liberals held an urgent meeting, they could no longer bear so much cruelty.
But their meeting was interrupted, someone knocked on the door was an inhabitant tired of this situation and wanted to be part of the group, they could not welcome him when they knocked on the door again, people gathered, and that was repeated so many times that something was necessary to do, because the King would notice that group of people, taking advantage of the situation and the spirits of the people decided to act.
The group went to the castle and with torches in their hands, they demanded that the King leave his post.
They doubted three days of protest the King did not want to leave the post, and no matter how much resistance he put he could not win, the people were determined to win their freedom, His fight was for peace, there were no deaths, there was no blood, they were only around of the castle, but did not move from their posts, the armed and defense group of the King did not want to attack the inhabitants, because they were not assaulting.
The furious King decided to leave, he could not govern who no longer wanted to fulfill his orders and that is how he took his ship and left the island.

The King left and the sun illuminated the island, it was a magical force, freedom had arrived and happiness was felt in the environment, immediately to celebrate the triumph the inhabitants adorned their houses and streets with Christmas.
Until today there is no known Christmas happier and happier than that on the island, from that moment Christmas was declared as sacred, mandatory celebration.
