the Moroccan horses exhibitions, fantasia "tbourida"

in #art7 years ago

annually in so many parts of the Moroccan regions, people come from every part of the kingdom to show their skills in ridding and controlling horses and playing with gun over the horses's backs this is what we called in the kingdom the art of tbourida or the fantasia which attracts the visitors from all over the kingdom to enjoy the beauty of this exhibitions.

the so called Fantasia is a traditional exhibition of horsemanship in so many different parts of the kingdom, this show always performed during cultural festivals and some wedding celebrations in some particular areas. the real name of this show is called tbourida as it's famous in the country but nowadays most of the people preferred to call it fantasia instead of laab lbaroud or the gunpowder play.

the show or the performance The performance consists of a group of horse riders or horsemen, they are almost wearing the same traditional clothes, the horsemen charge along a direct path at the same speed so that to be almost at the same straight line, and then at the end of the charge about some netters from the start line then at the end of the charge the horsemen shot fire into the sky at the same time. the performance is difficult because it's really hard to synchronise the movement of the horses, and especially in controlling guns and firing it at the same time so that it it heard as an only one shot. Moroccans considered this art of fantasia as a cultural performance and it also symbolises a strong relationship between the man and the horse, or even an attachment to the Moroccan traditions tradition. in Each region in the country has one or even more fantasia groups, called serba, there are almost thousands of horse riders in all of the nation. Performances are usually made in local seasonal, and cultural or religious festivals, the performance is called moussem or seasons in English. some of the famous resultants in morocco offer a fantasia as part of the entertainment to attract more and more visitors.
