Today I have been inspired by fellow steemian @tonyr to get the pencils and crayons out to attempt to draw my entry for his drawing competition.

I thought it woukd be wise to start with the beginner drawing.... rules are simple.... draw the character using pencil and crayons only.
Being the summer holidays i thought it a good opportunity to get my little girl involved..... so pencils and crayons at the ready we get started...
This is the character that we are aiming to draw.... Can't quite believe that he is the beginner character.
But here goes.....
The little lady put her heart and soul into her competition entry....
And they were coming together nicely....
In the end though I'm not quite sure i got the body dimensions quite right but we gave it a shot and had fun taking part..... what a great competition. Think next time I will try to print the picture instead of trying to copy it off my phone....
I'll let you try to guess which was drawn by me,and which was my 8 year old daughter's entry

It is far too difficult a task to choose which is yours and which is your daughters! :) They are both too good!! :[) I'm so glad you had such a good time with your pencils and crayons today and I'm sure our guest judge will have a very difficult time choosing a winner if the rest of the entries are of such a high standard!
