this is a tell tale sign that they were in on the conspiracy.
Funny thing is, this is almost the story of the panda bear. It was not until the sons of Disney went deep into China that the story of the black and white bear was anything more than a myth.

Wow is that true about the Panda bear? It just shows that we have a fixed idea in our heads of what is possible and what is not.
Not sure whether that Panda argument has ever been settled (bear or racoon family) but nonetheless, it is interesting in its own right.
