Cockroach, an incredible and "disgusting" creation

Today am gonna say 14 things about cockroaches that maybe you knew and maybe not. Even of they are disgusting and most of us don't like them, they are incredible.

Here are the facts about cockroaches:

Cockroach exists and "terrorizes" the planet for 300 million years, and human exists only 40.000 years.
Cockroach survived the ice age, the split of the continents and meteorite falls.
Cockroach can stand hours of oxygen lack, ninety days without food and fourty days without water.
Cockroach is omnivorous.
And the seven ends of her can grow back again. The head can stay alive without body for up to twelve hours. And the body for up to fourty days.
There are about 3.500 different species of cockroach in the world. In Europe exist 150 species and in Greece only 20.
Most of the species live on the ground at the organic remains, but there are species that live at the leaves of small plants and there are even species that live on trees. There are species that live in water and species that can stand the conditions of the desert.
They follow people even on space. It is said that they habited the space station MIR. At 2007 the cockroach name Hope became the first living thing that became pregnant and gave birth in space.
Cockroach is nocturnal species but sometimes they walk around in day light.
Despite the rumors they are cleaner than humans, and mostly they don't carry any deseaces. The chemicals we use to kill them are more toxic and bad for us than the cockroaches.
In fact it is proved that they are useful for people because they have been used to cure digestive problems, tetanus and otitis.
A research of 2010 showed that the brain of the cockroach has antibiotic properties being capable of killing the 90% of the strong bacteria.
The reflex time of a cockroach is 40 ms and it can run so fast that can walk 50 human arms in one second.
We are talking about a really ancient organism that has incredible capabilities of survival and adjustment and it considered to be the perfect creation.
